Ireland will train at their base in Versailles this morning.

They'll then head to Lille ahead of tomorrow's make or break showdown with Italy. The boys in green were due to train at the match stadium this evening, however that's been cancelled because of concerns over the pitch.

Assistant manager Roy Keane hopes Jonathan Walters can improve his fitness in training later. The Stoke forward was an unused substitute in Saturday's Group E defeat to Belgium after an Achilles problem.

A busy day today with Groups C and D drawing to a close. Northern Ireland start the day in third place in Group C as go up against world champions Germany at the Parc des Princes in Paris

Poland are taking-on a Ukrainian side without a point from their opening two games.

Both games kick-off at 5pm.

Later tonight, defending champions Spain only need a point from their clash with second-placed Croatia to finish top of Group D.

Elsewhere, the Czech Republic take-on Turkey.

The Irish Under 20's have booked their place in their first Under-20 World Championship final.

Nigel Carolan's side thrashed a 14-man Argentina by 37 points to 7 in their semi-final in Manchester.

Out-half Johnny McPhillips also kicked 17 points as Ireland booked a place in Saturday's decider - they'll face tournament hosts England, who beat South Africa by 22 points in their semi-final.
