Iceland shocked the world last night as England crashed out of Euro 2016 in spectacular fashion.
Iceland won 2-1,England went ahead through a Wayne Rooney penalty, but goals from Ragnar Sigurdsson and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson gave Iceland a famous victory - they now go on to face France on Sunday.
Hodgson resigned immediately after the game, reading a pre-prepared statement (when exactly he wrote it is another story) and taking no questions afterwards.

Elsewhere Italy have booked their place in the quarter-finals at Euro2016.
Antonio Conte's side have dumped-out defending champions Spain after a two-nil win at the Stade de France.
Goals in either half from Giorgio Chiellini and Graziano Pelle sealed a deserved victory for the Azzurri.
St Patrick's Athletic begin their Europa League qualifying campaign tonight.
The Saints will play host to Jeunesse Esch of Luxembourg.
Kick-off at Richmond Park is at 19:45.
Cork begin their Bord Gais Energy Munster Under 21 Hurling Championship campaign this evening.
The Rebels host All Ireland Champions Limerick in Pairc ui Rinn

Serena Williams and Andy Murray will be among the big names on-show today at Wimbledon.
As the women's top-seed, Williams will begin the defence of her title in the opening game on centre court today when she plays Amra Sadikovic of Switzerland.
