Steve Collins to Come Out of Retirement!
Reports this afternoon suggest that boxing legend Steve Collins is to come out of retirement. The 48 year old, who retired from the sport in 1997, is set to fight Roy Jones Jr, a bout that was always touted when both were in their prime in the 90s. Collins has reportedly accepted a challenge from the 43 year old Jones, however no other details have been confirmed. Collins told TalkSport in the UK that the fight will happen, and that it wasn't a comeback, but the "end of a 15 year grudge." (TalkSport link HERE) We spoke to Steve before Christmas ahead of Spike O'Sullivan's bout (which was later postponed until March).
