TEAM NEWS: Waterford team to play Cork in Munster Quarter Final
The Waterford Football team to play Cork in their Munster Championship quarter final on Saturday has been named.
Tom McGlinchey's selection shows seven changes to the side that started their final league fixture against Leitrim, and includes two full Senior Championship debutants in Donie Breathnach and Conor Murray.
Ballincourty duo Stephen Enright and Brian Looby return to their goalkeeping and corner back positions respectively.
Tadhg Ó hUallacháin is named on the other wing.
James McGrath moves to wing back with Stephen Prendergast coming into the centre back position and Ray O'Ceallaigh moving to the other wing.
Tommy Prendergast joins Michael Curry in the Deise midfield.
Captain Paul Whyte is set to lead the attack from centre forward, flanked by Michael O'Halloran and Conor Murray.
Gavin Crotty moves from midfield to the inside forward line and is joined by Donie Breathnach and Joey Veale in completing the selection and seven changes.
The Cork Team is due to be named at 8pm on Friday night.
