Three match suspension for Adelaide Crows' Ebony Marinoff
Adelaide Crows player Ebony Marinoff has been suspended for three matches following the incident that left Cork's Bríd Stack with a fractured C-7 vertebra.
At the AFL tribunal Marinoff was found guilty of "engaging in forceful front-on contact."
Stack was dealt with for 30 minutes on the pitch with spinal precaution protocols being followed, before being transferred to hospital.
A scan revealed a fracture of the C-7 vertebra, but thankfully no nerve or spinal damage, meaning the 11 time All Ireland winner will make a full recovery.
The 2016 footballer of the year has begun the process of rehabilitation, and will remain in Australia.
The Crows have until tomorrow to appeal the decision.
