WOWSA Man of the Year - Steve Redmond
Steve Redmond has been named as the World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) Man of the Year for 2012. The Ballydehob man completed the Ocean's 7 swim challenge this year, the challenge consisted of swims across the Irish Channel, The English Channel, The Strait of Gibraltar, The Cook Strait, The Molokai Channel and The Catalina Channel and the final swim, the Tsugaru Strait in Japan.
