Mick talks to Dave ahead of the 50th anniversary of Midleton FC, on June 10th.
Starting indoors as Fr Murphy’s youth club with Pat Coakley as the first manager and chairman, Mick started as the club secretary to go on to become the club’s chairman.
He recalls some of the club’s highlights including knocking Bray Wanderers out of the FA Cup in 1991,at their home in Knockgriffin Park.
To achievements at both senior and underage level.
Next Sunday they will be holding a Family Funday to celebrate the clubs Birthday.
There will be Music, Food, Fun and Games, all are welcome!
