LISTEN BACK: Richard Milnes of Dillon's in Timoleague spoke to Neil about the decision to close the much loved restaurant

Chef Richard Milnes, Owner Dillon's in Timoleague, considered one of the real gems of the region, has become the latest high-profile Cork restaurant to announce that they have had to concede that they cannot have a viable future under the current restrictions. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of our beloved Dillon's Restaurant," said Richard.The current pandemic and the measures we all have to take to protect each other from Covid 19 are unfortunately not sustainable for our cosy and intimate restaurant. We have absolutely loved every minute of serving our guests from Cork and beyond and would like to thank you all for your support, the laughs and love over the years The very popular spot, known to locals and holidaymakers in the region alike, follows other recent high-profile closures including the award-winning Greenroom Cafe in Midleton and the nearby Pepperstack.
