320 people identified as close contacts of a confirmed Covid case have opted to be tested for the coronavirus, since the measure came into effect last week.

Of the 38 people who tested positive for the virus, 28 had NO symptoms.

CEO of the HSE Paul Reid says it shows how important it is to avail of the test.
