600 people to be vaccinated in Páirc Uí Chaoimh over the next two days

Remaining healthcare workers are due to be vaccinated in the centre Thursday and Friday - which the first of five centres across six locations in Cork that will be vaccinating people.
The other locations are in City Hall, MTU Campus, Bantry Primary Care Centre and Mallow GAA Club.
The centre has 30 booths and a maximum capacity to vaccinate up to 3,000 people per day, but the HSE says they do not expect to need to use this maximum capacity until later in the roll-out and the maximum capacity will depend on many factors, including vaccine supply.
Speaking to RedFM News Aífe O'Connell Assistant Coordinator of nursing who is heading up the roll out in Pairc Ui Chaoimh says more vaccinations will be carried out next week: "So next week we're open Thursday to Friday, and we're going to be doing category four patients. So it's assisting the hospitals to give vaccine to some other vulnerable categories that need doing."
