A Community In North Cork Says Their Local GAA Club Continues To Be A Huge Support

The local club has rowed in to support the Blarney/Tower Community Response Forum which has supported 160 residents in the area who have been unable to leave their homes due to the Covid-19 outbreak. 

Blarney GAA are hosting a fundraiser today to raise funds for Barney meals on wheels and Blarney first responders as well as two national charities, Pieta House and Marymount Hospice.

Speaking to RedFM News Val Kirby of the local GAA club says they wanted to do something to give back when they got involved in the community response forum:
