Additional Funding Is Being Made Available To Nursing Homes

The money will be used to create safe visiting spaces

The Temporary Assistance Payment Scheme is being expanded on a one off basis to facilitate such a development.

Eligible nursing homes will be allowed claim up to 2,500 euro.

Since Monday, each resident can have one visitor a week under level 3 and 4 restrictions.

In Level 5, they can have one visitor every two weeks.
