That's according to the Tánaiste Leo Varadkar

The figures have prompted fears about the availability of childcare for parents returning to work over the coming months.

The Dáil has heard claims from Aontú's Peadar Toibin that 7 providers have closed their doors for good in the last 24 hours alone.
