Here's a reminder of today's main Covid-19 headlines

There has been a further 520 new Covid-19 cases, including 16 in Cork, and 1 additional death.

359 people are currently in hospital with the disease, 81 of which are in ICU.

There's a call for a more regional approach on the easing of covid restrictions.

The continued high number of cases across the country has raised doubts over whether the government will be able to press ahead with their plans on April 5th.

Communications between GPs and the HSE, on the number of vaccines being delivered to a practice, has been described as 'frustrating'.

One doctor in Galway say he only finds out how many he is due to receive when the delivery is made.

7,000 fewer people will receive the Pandemic Unemployment Payment this week.

134.23 million euro will be paid to almost 450 thousand PUP recipients tomorrow, with 49% of people receiving the maximum rate of 350 euro.
