The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today said that there are 42 people in hospital with Covid.
The number of patients in Intensive Care Units remains unchanged at 14.

Government Minister: 200,000 People Set To Be Fully Vaccinated Against Covid-19 Up To Two Months Early
It's due to the accelerated programme, which will allow 18 to 34 year olds get a Johnson and Johnson jab in a pharmacy from Monday.
The HSE says there's been a 'phenomenal response' since the announcement was made yesterday.

European Affairs Minister Says He Doesn't Think There Will Be Chaos At Airports When EU Digital Covid Cert Is Introduced
The system went live on Thursday but Ireland is the only member state yet to have it up and running.
Ryanair says there was "chaos" at Dublin Airport this week as EU passengers tried to avail of the cert.
Minister Thomas Byrne says the system will be ready to go here on July 19th.
