Covid-19 Has 'Further Highlighted' The Need For Increased Funding For The Early Years Sector

That's according to SIPTU Organiser Eva Mitchell

She says it's time that Early Years workers across Ireland are given a decent living wage.

Her comments come after yesterday's 'Together for Early Years' day of action, moved online this year due to Covid-19.

In reaction to yesterday's day of action, Minister for Children Roderic O'Gorman says he is determined to implement proper pay for Early Years professionals, with reduced costs to parents.
