End of April or early May before non-essential retail or hairdressers can reopen

Leo Varadkar says any easing of restrictions on April 5th will be quite limited.

He says outdoor activities will resume sooner as they are deemed safer.

"Do you know it would be relaxation of the five kilometre rule, allowing more outdoor activities, and also things like construction being allowed to go back. When it comes to the reopening of shops, reopening of personal services, hospitality- that wouldn't be happening on the 5th of April realistically, the earliest you'd be talking about some of those kind of things would be end of April, more likely or early May."
