Hazlett: The Government Hasn't Once Given Live Music Industry Chance To Show It Can Operate Safely

That's according to the singer of a well-known wedding band, who says the mental health of entertainers has seriously suffered over the last year
Failte Ireland's new guidelines for reopening the hospitality industry have placed a ban on live or loud music.
James Hazlett from Spring Break says it's a kick in the teeth to performers:
"We all got a massive shock at Christmas when we were hit by the third wave, and I'm sure that people have lots of regrets about how they acted and what restrictions were eased. But there is another wave on the horizon, and it's the wave of people's issues with mental health, that we have to taper and try to control that."
