Health Minister: NPHET's View On Further Easing Of Restrictions Positive

Cabinet will meet on Friday to consider public health advice on the easing of restrictions through July and beyond

It's expected decisions on dates for indoor dining, live events and international travel will be given later this week. 

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says the public health view is positive:

"Ceann Comhairle, I've just come from a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer, following NPHET meeting today, in relation to advice that we'll be bringing to cabinet on Friday. I'm very happy to report, as I'm sure members would be aware, this NPHET's view is that the trajectory is positive. Again, thanks to the Irish people getting behind the measures day after day after day."
