Health Minister says plan is being developed to deal with potential second wave during flu season

The Health Minister says a 'comprehensive' winter plan's being worked on to deal with a potential second wave of Covid-19 during flu season.

It follows a warning from the HSE that hospital services will be overrun if the scenario plays out.

The reproductive rate now stands between 1.4 and 1.8, and could mean 150 cases per day in three weeks if trends continue, according to the acting CMO.
