Health officials have warned there are significant signs of progress stalling in reducing the spread of Covid-19.
There have been over 3,600 new cases recorded in the last week - up 6 per cent on the previous week.
The HSE says hospital numbers aren't falling as fast as they were, with 345 Covid patients currently being treated.
