HSE say they are doing everything they can to clear delays at their Covid-19 test centre in Blackpool

The registration process for a test is being done manually due to the recent cyber attack on the HSE

Additional staff are being redeployed to the test centre on the Old Mallow Road to tackle the backlog.

People with symptoms and those who have been advised to attend by their GP or the Department of Public Health are being prioritised for a test.
