Irish Travel Agents Association Joining Cork Airport In Call For Lifting Of 14 Day Quarantine Rule

It's in an effort to get inbound and outbound tourism going

The Chief Medical Officer has advised people not to go on foreign holidays, over concerns it may result in a spike in Covid-19 cases while the Government is currently drawing up a 'safe list' of countries people can visit, without having to quarantine when arriving back, is currently being drawn up

The Irish Travel Agents Association says 'Air Bridges', which allow travel between states that have low transmission rates, should be implemented to boost the tourism and aviation industry.

Speaking to RedFM News in the past hour CEO of the ITAA Pat Dawson says while he respects the Chief Medical Officer's advice on travel ultimately the decision lies with the new Government
