Kinsale has been named the overall winner of the Bank of Ireland Begin Together Awards

The town was recognised for its' "Kinsale Comeback Campaign"

The tourist town, which has scooped a €50,000 cash prize, was recognised for the  rolling out of the "Kinsale Comeback Campaign" to attract domestic tourists, was revealed as the overall winner this morning 

The Bank of Ireland Begin Together Awards, bring business and community groups together to support local recovery and rebuilding. 

The initiative was fast-tracked to provide funding to winning towns in early October and directly assist their Covid-19 recovery.

Clonakilty was named runner up in the local town promotion initiative award
