Leaving Cert students have just over a week to decide which exam subjects, if any, they want to sit

A State Examinations Commission online portal opens tomorrow where students must register their subjects, levels and how they want to be assessed for each exam.

They can choose between predicted grades and traditional exams in each subject and will be granted whichever grade is highest.

Unlike other years, a later application process will be not available and students have until March 16 to register.
