Limerick Prison Is Dealing With An Outbreak Of Covid-19

It's after a male inmate tested positive

He has been in the jail for at least a month. 

He's now been isolated from other prisoners and management are confident of containing the virus. 

But all 237 male and female prisoners in the jail are being tested as a precaution, as are all staff. 

Midlands Prison in Portlaoise is also dealing with an outbreak of the virus, affecting five inmates and several staff.
