Localised restrictions could be used to stop coronavirus spread

Localised restrictions, where clusters of Covid-19 emerge, could be introduced to try stop the spread of the virus. 

The National Public Health Emergency Team's concerned about groups of younger people who've contracted the infection in recent days, with all of the most recent cases involving people under 45 years old. 

The R number, which shows how many people on average would be infected by a confirmed case, has gone up to at, or above, 1. 

Public health experts are expressing concerns people will gather this weekend, without social distancing.
