Mills: Young People Need To Be Vaccinated In Autumn As At Huge Risk From Covid-19 infection

Immunology expert, Professor Kingston Mills says most cases of the virus are in the 19 to 24 year old age group, followed by 14 to 19 year olds
It comes as 434 new cases were confirmed yesterday along with four more deaths.
Professor Mills thinks the Johnson and Johnson jab could be given to teenagers and kids:
"Having immunised the older population, I think we then should look at where the virus is transmitting most. Clearly, it's now transmitting in the younger population. So there is a case to be made for using the one dose vaccine if we had enough of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the younger population in parallel with doing the older population. Or perhaps considering just administering one dose of the highly effective mRNA vaccines, initially and waiting 12 weeks.
