Nursing Home In Cork Will Be The First To Pilot New Rapid Covid-19 Testing

It produces results in 15 minutes

Oaklodge Nursing Home in Cloyne will be the first nursing home in Ireland to trial the new Health Passport.

The technology has been developed by Irish-based ROQU Group.

The system has been designed to provide a positive or negative coronavirus diagnosis in less than 15 minutes using a lab swab, finger prick blood tests and other rapid testing solutions.

The Leeside nursing home say they will be using the technology to proactively test staff, residents, and visitors to minimise the risks related to Covid-19.
