Pubs closed until August 10th; VFI hits out at delay in decision after some Cork pubs incur extra cost after ordering in stock for July 20th reopening

The Cork branch of the Vintners Federation of Ireland says it's disappointing that the announcement of the delayed reopening of pubs has come so late.
Ministers are meeting this evening to discuss whether or not to move to phase four of the easing of restrictions, and are yet to officially announce the outcome of the meeting however it has been confirmed to RedFM News this evening that pubs will not reopen until August 10th.
It's a blow to many pubs who had been preparing to reopen their premises next Monday.
Speaking to RedFM News, Michael O'Donovan of the Cork branch of the Vintners Federation of Ireland says the season is effectively gone for many pubs, and some have incurred extra cost by ordering in stock for next Monday - press PLAY
