Speculation mounting Blackpool SouthDoc service may not reopen

In March, SouthDoc announced a restructuring of their service in order to ensure that the level of service could be maintained during the Covid-19 pandemic  

Concern is now growing that due to financial constraints on the Southdoc service and the physical size of the base in Blackpool that it may not reopen so calls are being made for urgeny clarity on the issue 

Speaking to RedFM News Blackpool based GP Dr John Sheehan who also works in Southdoc says if there is a plan not to ropen the centre this needs to be shared as a high volume of people rely on the Blackpool service
