Sunday Mass Has Taken Place Across The Country For The First Time Since March

Ceremonies were postponed indefinitely 4 months ago due to Covid-19

Some parishes however didn't hold any public ceremonies like in Athlone, as they didn't want to turn people away at the door due to social distancing.

There are changes to the way Communion is given out with those wishing to receive standing at their pew, and no hand shaking.
