The Education Minister Is To Meet With Teaching Unions This Afternoon

It follows the decision not to bring Leaving Cert and special needs students back to school next week
Unions were against in class learning from Monday, however the ASTI says if the covid case numbers decrease significantly it would be willing to review it's position.
CEO of Inclusion Ireland Enda Egan is concerned that no one representing special educational needs has been invited to the meeting:
'It is vitally important that Inclusion Ireland and all the other organisations representing children with special educational needs are sitting at the table so the advice of parents and those kids are involved in any kind of solutions that may be found.'
