The First Doses Of One-Shot Johnson&Johnson Vaccine Set To Be Administered Next Week

Its rollout forms part of the revised vaccination plan that's being finalised by health officials

The HSE says it has so far received 26,000 units of the vaccine.

CEO, Paul Reid, says inoculations are due to start next week:

"We are planning to utilise those Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Particularly towards vulnerable groups, that we can access very quickly with a single dose. They're part of our revised plan that we're going through at the moment. So we'll continue with all available supplies, on any given week, that's what we've done throughout the whole campaign to date."
