The Government Says It Fully Intends For Schools To Reopen On The 11th Of January

They were due to reopen from today

There are suggestions the reopening of schools will be further delayed due to the escalating case numbers. 

A Department of Education Spokesperson says all members of the school community should use the extended break to minimise their contacts before returning to school.
