The Number Of New Confirmed Cases Of Copvid-19 Has Remained Above 20 For A Third Consecutive Day

Two more patients diagnosed with Covid-19 have died in the Republic

23 positive tests were reported to public health doctors up to midnight on Friday, bringing the total number infected in the Republic to over 25 thousand six hundred. 

1,746 patients have died since the outbreak began here. 

Dr Tomás Ryan, Associate Professor at the School of Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College, says the people who are catching the virus now are more likely to end up in settings where they'll pass it on.
