Tighter travel rules for travel between Britain and Ireland being considered

Longer quarantine periods for unvaccinated passengers are being looked at
It's due due to the spread of the Delta variant in the UK.
126 cases of the strain, first identified in India, have so far been recorded here.
Monaghan-based GP, Dr Ilona Duffy, says there's a need for caution:
"So the real concern is that this absolutely is spreading faster so it's very virulent very contagious form of the virus. And as we know that unless you've had your two doses of the vaccine, you can't be really deem yourself as safe from serious illness with."
