Traffic on one of Cork's busiest roads has almost halved compared to this time last year

Transport Infrastructure Ireland say just 9,897 cars used the N40 South Ring Road between 7am and 10am yesterday.
The figure is a drop of 43% compared to the same day in 2019 but an increase of 8% week on week.
TII say the level of cars on the roads has been increasing since April 21st.
