Vaccination Centre At MTU Bishopstown Campus Will Serve As Covid-19 Community Vaccination Centre From Monday

The team at the centre will initially focus on administering second doses of the Astra Zeneca and Pfizer BioNTech vaccines

The centre will operate its 10 booths from 9am to 5pm.

The vaccination programme is currently at the peak of its activity, and, in a statement to RedFM News, Cork-Kerry-Community-Healthcare say they expect this to last until mid-July.

Across the country, 38 per cent of the adult population is now fully vaccinated against covid-19.

In recent months, a number of GPs had being working together to vaccinate their older and more vulnerable patients at the site.
