Vaccine administration at its peak and will decline next month

Around 300,000 doses are being administered every week, but this will drop to approximately 200,000 per week in July.
Registration for 35 to 39 year olds will open from Sunday, but the HSE has advised that vaccinating those in their thirties will take longer than previous age groups.
Currently 31% of the adult population is fully vaccinated.
HSE CEO Paul Reid outlines why less vaccines will be administered next month compared to this month:
"If I could just make the point on the delivery lines in July, it's not a function of reduced deliveries primarily from Pfizer and Moderna. It's a function of the AstraZeneca and Janssen, the supply lines of those no longer being available to us for vaccinating people based on the recommended medical advice from NIAC."
