100 jobs saved with purchase of Charleville Park Hotel

100 jobs have been saved in North Cork with the purchase of the Charleville Park Hotel today. The new proprietors plan to invest over €1 million in upgrading the infrastructure and facilities at the hotel. It's comes amid a spate of other significant investments in the hotel industry in Cork including the multi-million purchase of the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig, the €3 million purchase of the Midleton Park Hotel, and the Kingsley hotel which was purchased for €6 million by Beijing-based Kang family of Fota Island Estate. Speaking to RedFM News Pat McDonagh of Supermacs who has acquired the hotel says further employment is also on the cards. Click the PLAY button above to hear.
