1,000 new jobs have been announced for Cork in the past week in six seperate announcements...... This afternoon the Taoiseach welcomed the news that 150 new jobs are being created in the city as a global hedge fund administrator is to establish an office at City Gate in Mahon... HedgeServ has an operation in Dublin since 2008, at which it now employs over 380 employees.. The company has recently recruited over 50 positions in City Gate and intends to employ over 200 people over several years at their state of the art facility in Mahon...
