12 killed in Paris shooting
The death toll from the gun attack at a Paris magazine office has risen to 12. At least 4 others were critically injured in the shooting at the office of Charlie Hebdo (pron: eb-doh). Shortly before the incident the magazine posted a tweet mockingly wishing the head of Islamic State a Happy New Year. A manhunt is now underway for 2 or 3 armed men.
