150 Women Would Die From Breast Cancer Every Year If Screening Was Stopped

That's the message from Breastcheck after a High Court judgement last week.
The Judge in the Ruth Morrisey case said testers need to have "absolute confidence" that there are no abnormalities before giving a slide the all clear.
There are concerns that the ruling could make it difficult to continue with cancer screening services.
Lead Clinical Director of Breastcheck, Anne O'Doherty, says it's impossible to have absolute confidence in any medical test.
