18 young boys from Gaza who visited Cork as part of a respite programme are returning home today

Gaza Action Ireland welcomed the 12 to 15 year olds from the Al Helal football academy as part of a 9 day trip around Ireland
They group played local football teams in a friendly match and say they are already planning a return visit, and this time hope to bring the girls team with them.
The continuing conflict in Gaza makes it very difficult for children to engage in sports, as they are hampered by a lack of facilities and equipment
Speaking to RedFM News local organiser Zoe Lawlor says bringing the Gaza Girls to Ireland is their next project.
