20% Of People Say They Need To Borrow Money To Cover The Cost Of Christmas
That's according to new research from Wagestream
Irish workers paid monthly who received their wages this week now face waiting up to 42 days until their January pay day.
Six per cent of people say they have used a pay day loan to bridge the gap.
Almost half of workers say they've cancelled activities with family or friends due to the financial strain.
