28 Year Old Man To Appear In Court In Mallow Today In Connection With Drug Seizures Worth €200,000
A 28 year old Lithuanian man is due to appear in court in Mallow today in connection with two drugs seizures totalling almost €200,000 in the area this week.
Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit backed up by officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit and Organised Crime Bureau carried out an intelligence-led operation in Mallow town on Monday.
A 28 year old man was arrested during the operation and brought to Mallow Garda station.
Gardaí carried out a search of a house in the Quartertown area of Mallow Monday night and uncovered a further haul of canbnabis herb worth a further €125,000.
The man was charged late on Tuersday night in connection with both seizures.
