The cruise strategy plan, which is aimed at local attractions and businesses to show them how Bantry can capitalise on the cruise market, was unveiled in the West Cork town today
The Port of Cork, who control and operate Bantry Bay Port Company have a wealth of experience when it comes to the cruise industry with over 100 cruise liners visiting Cobh this year alone
Port of Cork Chief Executive Brendan Keating told RedFM News that there is huge potential in Bantry to grow the smaller cruise liner market which saw 10 cruise liners bringing over 8,000 passengers and crew to Bantry this year
