30 Year Old Man Remanded In Custody In Connection With Cork Heroin Seizure
The seizure of 2.5 kilos of heroin is the largest ever seizure of heroin in the city
Officers from the City Divisional Drugs Squad seized 2.5 kilos of heroin with a street value of €350,000 when they stopped and searched a man after he got into a taxi on Patrick St on Tuesday.
Kevin Bulman, a native of Youghal but currently of No Fixed Abode, was brought before the District Court where he was charged with two offences in relation to the heroin seizure.
His defence solicitor, told the court that his client is not seeking bail at this stage and Judge Olann Kelleher granted free legal aid and remanded Kevin Bulman to appear before the district court again on November 13th when a bail application may be made.
