38 New Recruits Will Graduate As Members Of The Defence Forces At Haulbowline Today
38 new recruits will graduate as members of the Defence Forces today.
They've completed 20 weeks of intensive training to prepare them for the Naval Service, and they'll now start specialist training before being posted to the fleet.
A passing-out parade takes place in the Haulbowline Naval Base in Cork today.
Louth's Deirdre Walsh, one of the new recruits, says today's a proud occasion for her.
